Cultural Humility Training
Cultural competence is the ability to understand, communicate with, and effectively interact with people across cultures. LGBTQ+ specific cultural diversity can incorporate a variety of factors including, gender identity, gender expression, race, ethnicity, religion, and sexual orientation.
Developing cultural humility is an ongoing process beginning with understanding one’s own unique cultural perspectives and, how they influence our world view and assessments of others. Our perspectives evolve over time and are heavily impacted by our daily interactions. Our Cultural Humility training is intended to educate professionals who interact with LGBTQ+ youth and improve their ability to provide more inclusive services to this population.
Humble yourselves and we will teach you the secrets on how to SLAY!
