Our Mission

F.R. Pride is a community wellness center, focused on providing Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer specific services. We strongly believe that negative health outcomes may be prevented by addressing emotional and social factors that disproportionally affect this population. Our goal is to bridge the gap in access to culturally competent services, by acting as a resource and support to LGBTQ+ youth and their families.

We aim to support the wellbeing of the LGBTQ+ people in the Greater Fall River region. We believe that communities are strengthened when we value and promote human rights and self-determination for all people. We work towards these ideals by creating opportunities for integration and inclusion, enhancing cultural competency through education, and increasing the visibility of the local LGBTQ+ population.

“It was so good to be…

…with a group of people who want to celebrate diversity and tolerance. Bravo F.R. Pride, bravo Naomi, bravo FR Public Library, and BRAVO people of Fall River! 💜💙💚🧡❤️"

Our Impact

F.R. Pride has been incorporated since 2018. Since then, we have effectively increased visibility of the high need of LGBTQ+ events and services within our community. Our organization focuses on building community connections and creating safe spaces for our youth.
